After the bookstore Tom produced a couple of films and mastered the game of golf. In July 2016 over dinner in Petoskey one evening he said, “Let’s write a musical!”. Thus began one of the craziest projects I’ve ever undertaken.
With help from our director, Carla Milarch and our music director, Ryan McKenzie Lewis, we staged our first reading of “Detroit, the Musical” at the Yellow Barn in Ann Arbor on June 23, 2018. the cast was amazing!
